Sunday School

Our Christian Education hour runs from 9:45-10:40 am each Sunday morning, with Sunday School for children of all ages and Adult Discipleship classes for adults. We believe that these classes are essential to helping our members grow spiritually, and we therefore encourage everyone to participate.

For Adults:

We typically offer one or two options for adult classes. This quarter, we have one class called “Our Father in Heaven.” We will be utilizing Tim Keller’s book Prayer: Experiencing Awe and Intimacy with God to guide some of our discussion, but also plan to put into practice what we learn by spending time in prayer together during each class period. Prayer is ultimately about our relationship and communication with God, and we look forward to being encouraged and challenged to grow in this essential aspect of our faith.

For Little Ones:

This program begins with all children in the fellowship hall for opening exercises. During this time the children sing Bible songs, practice for presentations to the congregation and learn about missions through the Compassion International child they sponsor. At approximately 10:00 AM the children move to their classrooms for age appropriate lessons taught by trained volunteers from among the church members. The curriculum used is from Great Commission Publications which presents the story of the gospel as presented throughout the entire Bible.
